Interview with Jan Dungel

EPSULA presents an interview with Jan Dungel, who is not only a prominent painter, photographer and artist, as well as a renowned traveller.

At the same time, he is also one of the outstanding personalities among the graduates of Masaryk University in Brno, where he studied biology. It was his interest in nature, especially in the virgin jungle, untouched by man, that led him, among other things, to the South American continent, in particular to the Orinoco basin and to the remote areas of the Amazon. Dungel's impressive illustrations document the extraordinary atmosphere of the rainforest, its unique fauna and flora, and convey their unique, exotic beauty captured in the natural environment of the jungle.  As you will soon discover, Jan Dungel possesses the ability to convey his experiences in an equally engaging way, sharing his perspectives of the Amazon region,  the rainforest and the life there.
